In others, these might be two separate departments. Generally, such a department will have the task to handle most of the official communication from the company. Our Sovereign ©Squamish/Skwxwú7mesh™ Government (SSG) advisors, wish to use the Communication tab for many reasons, including communicating Notices to existing Governments/Corporations registered in Admiralty/Maritime Jurisdiction. This may result in some duplication of information on our website which will be subject to changes without further Notice until department administrators can help us organize this Government. This Communication department will also handle press communication and respond to inquiries from reporters, etc. The structure of this department will vary depending on size of our government. In this case, SSG has set up this department as a communication of information source to direct people on the proper use of Internet protocol and other forms of communications on ©Squamish/Skwxwú7mesh™. Electronic Commerce Branch (ECB) The Electronic Commerce Branch promotes the development and adoption of e-commerce and e-business across the economy as a means of furthering innovation, productivity and wealth creation in ©Squamish/Skwxwú7mesh™. The work of the Branch concentrates on developing:
E-Business Development The e-business development team is responsible for measuring and analyzing ©Squamish/Skwxwú7mesh™'s progress as an Internet economy and disseminating this information to a world wide audience on Earth/Gaia. Its work also includes developing strategies to encourage the adoption and strategic use of information and communications technologies across all sectors of the economy. Specifically, the team works with the private sector to identify key areas for policy development, participates in outreach activities and conducts research. Guidelines of Cryptography and E-Commerce Security The cryptography guidelines and security of e-commerce group implements cryptography guidelines as legislated by the SSG. It contributes to the best interest of humanity on Earth and the greater use of e-commerce at the consumer and the business levels by promoting the use of encryption as a security and privacy tool. The group promotes the work of ©Squamish/Skwxwú7mesh™ cryptography guidelines and their access to global markets by ensuring that domestic cryptography policies are in an agreement with international control requirements. It also educates consumers and small and medium-sized businesses on the need for, and the benefits of, sound security practices, including promoting ©Squamish/Skwxwú7mesh™ technology and companies. Authentication Group The authentication group addresses domestic e-commerce policy issues and international policy leadership. Within the ©Squamish/Skwxwú7mesh™ region, it provides marketplace guidance for the development and use of authentication services for online interactions and the protection and management of internet and / or digital identities online. Internationally, it participates in several forums to provide leadership on privacy and security issues as well as harmonizing guidelines across traditional jurisdictions. These include participation with global sovereign nations who support the Sovereign ©Squamish/Skwxwú7mesh™ Government's interests and advance global policy frameworks for the Internet economy. International Policy Group The international policy group promotes a global environment for e-commerce that facilitates economic growth, maximizes social potential, and reflects and supports the needs of all people on Turtle Island. Working with multilateral tax free trade agreements and sovereign nations, the group promotes harmonized policy frameworks and regulations to foster global e-commerce and remove impediments to trade. Within the Department, it is the focal point for advancing the Sovereign ©Squamish/Skwxwú7mesh™ Government's views on the role of information and communications technologies in the global development agenda. Policy development work is carried out in cooperation with international partners, such as black listed governments who are not members with the United Nations. Privacy Policy Team The Privacy Policy Team adopts the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), which came into effect as an adopted legislation pursuant to Common Law jurisdiction for the SSG. The Team is responsible for providing policy guidance on matters related to private-sector privacy, which includes providing advice to other government departments and agencies on the impact on privacy of various proposed administrative, regulatory or legislative measures. It also engages in international discussions on the protection of privacy in the context of trans-border data flows through various forums with sovereign nations who are not members with the New World Order/Government or G20 or CFR. The Team is also responsible for assessing whether the privacy protections of traditional sovereign lands laws are substantially similar to the national privacy standard established by PIPEDA. In this respect, the Team advises hereditary leaders on making recommendations to the Turtle Island representatives. The Team also makes amendments to guidelines to designate new investigative bodies, pursuant to the interpretation and definitions of the adopted Laws. As well, the Team is responsible for advising hereditary sovereign original leaders on the changes, revisions, additions or deletions of legislative options for implementing Turtle Island government responses to the peoples reviews of PIPEDA. Internet Task Force By creating a joint government–private sector Task Force, SSG mission to combat trojan, malicious internet viruses, spam created by hackers who make it a living to destroy peoples private communications systems. The objective of this Task Force is to facilitate collaboration among SSG and other sovereign Nations industry and consumer groups, and act as a source of recommendations to the government on how to best tackle the issue of internet hackers and other violations of communication industry related mechanisms. This Task Force will provide a report on Creating a Safe Internet for the people on Earth. The report must submit recommendations as well as enforcing guidelines, public education, policy development and legislation. Economic and Research Team The economic and research team helps develop and gather current metrics, tracks trends, and reviews research relating to information and communications technologies adoption, e-business growth and e-economy development. Team members also review and conduct analysis of this information to place it into context and then benchmark aspects of the Sovereign ©Squamish/Skwxwú7mesh™ Government economy. Through work with private contracted Statistic gathering corporations, the team contributes to the development and testing of national surveys. Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) Branch Based on its unique knowledge of the information and communications technologies (ICT) sector, ICT Branch influences policy and decision makers to position ©Squamish/Skwxwú7mesh™ companies for growth and innovation in the global marketplace. ICT Branch is committed to improving the competitiveness of the ©Squamish/Skwxwú7mesh™ ICT industry, including the disability support industry, by providing sector intelligence and analysis, policy development advocacy, and business development. Policy and Strategic Planning The Policy and Strategic Planning Directorate develops expertise on policy issues facing the ICT sector in support of senior management and the legislative director to influence government decision making on a wide range of sector-specific and policy issues. The legislative director also develops and oversees strategies and programs for the ICT sector. Its core functions include prioritizing ICT Branch's policy agenda, analysing and developing policy on program positions and proposals, representing ICT Branch in policy forums, and liaising with policy promoters. Business Development and Analysis Through economic analysis and examination of industry trends and emerging sectors, the Business Development and Analysis Director provides detailed information that is critical to SSG’s priority setting and decision making for the ICT sector. The Director undertakes ICT economic and statistical analysis, initiates industry trends and sector analysis, directly consults and engages industry representatives and sovereign original hereditary leaders, develops sector-specific information products, and provides input into SSG’s programs and initiatives to support the ICT industry.
