Green It! Municipalities will focus on growing community gardens where ever possible. Where there is a patch of greenery and/or on roof tops of densely populated areas; towns and cities, the ©Squamish / Skwxwú7mesh™ Government Transport and Highway department will work with municipalities in planting diverse indigenous trees at every round-a-bout, connectors, throughout every gated sub-division and shopping malls. Municipalities and department must maintain the tree population by removal of old or dying trees in order to avoid potential liability issues.
Housing: Siyam Kiapilanoq/CAPILANO™ is interested in environmental, eco friendly housing developments. These communities will restore the natural balance of harmony throughout the ©Squamish / Skwxwú7mesh™ Lands. Although we know that these solutions are time consuming, with all this unemployment, the ©Squamish / Skwxwú7mesh™ Government is prepared to hire people on a tax free payroll to construct peaceful residential and commercial communities. Housing will be constructed with the vision of self sustainable and in harmony with nature. Alternative building methods and materials will be used to minimize matural destruction of the environment.
Homes for our Elders and Handicap people: Homes of comfort for Elders are mandatory on ©Squamish / Skwxwú7mesh™ Lands. This is to show respect to our elders who may require 24 hour help due to health issues and are preparing to leave Earth to return to the Creator. These services will be provided by the Municipalities and strictly controlled by the members who take an interest in the treatment of their family members who are placed in these homes. Municipal agents will be responsible for making sure that proper diets and exercise is part of the daily activities for all seniors. No one should be bored or abandoned at that age. Pharmaceutical drugs are prohibited unless consented to in writing by the patient and their family members.
Community Maintenance: In order to foster and promote the tourist industry, municipalities are responsible for maintaining the appearance of each village, city or town. This can be accomplished by hiring gardeners to plant fruit trees or indigenous trees, shrubs and flower beds where ever there is a patch of Earth. Siyam Kiapilanoq/CAPILANO does not want anyone to be hungry and in his grandfather’s days, there were fruit trees everywhere. No one was hungry, the apples and pears were plucked from the trees and eaten. ‘Kap’ wants to carry on this tradition of sharing the wealth for the health of the people living on ©Squamish / Skwxwú7mesh™ Land.
Private Land developers: Land Developers must submit their proposal to municipal hearings and the people have a final say, not municipal agents. The municipal agent task is to make sure that the land developers follow the proper building codes and standards and that no short cuts are taken in order to minimize the construction costs. No more leaky condos or power outages created to disrupt energy service to the people!
TAKE NOTICE THAT: Land contracts between municipal agents, lawyers and developers for private kick backs are defined as a crime of fraud to commit commercial crimes against humanity will be publically posted without further Notice. Residential or commercial land developers who do not comply with strict building codes are heavily fined and asked to leave ©Squamish / Skwxwú7mesh™ Land to conduct their business elsewhere.
